Which Outpatient Area Am I Attending?
Your Outpatient Appointment will take place in one of the following Outpatient Areas and this will be stated on the appointment offer letter.

OPD Location: Main Outpatients Department (OPD)
Directions: The Main Outpatient Department is located next to the Emergency Department. Clinics within covered within this area are the Awbeg Suite & the Soft Tissue Clinic. On entering the main hospital gate from the Bishopstown Road turn right. The entrance to the Outpatient Department will be on your left before the entrance to the Emergency Department. The Eye Clinic & the Ambulatory Care Facility are also accessed via the entrance to the left of new Accident & Emergency Entrance.
OPD Location: Cardiac Renal Centre (CRC) Level 3C
Directions: On entering the main hospital gate from the Bishopstown Road, turn left and follow the signs for public car parking. Access to the Cardiac Renal Centre (CRC) is via the CUH front door/ Main Reception Area. The CRC entrance is located directly opposite the Main Reception Area and is accessed via the brown double doors. The public lifts (purple/glass) are located in the central atrium of the CRC. Please take these lifts to Level 3. Enter via brown double doors opposite lifts and follow appropriate signage to Level 3C OPD Area. Please click here to see map for directions.
OPD Location: CEDAR Building
Directions: The CEDAR Building is located just off of the Main CUH Campus at No. 80 Wilton Road, Cork T12 X072. Please click here to see map for directions.

OPD Location: Fracture Clinic
Directions: The Fracture Clinic is held in the Old Radiotherapy Department which is located on the ground floor adjacent to the X-Ray Department. On entering the hospital main gate from the Bishopstown Road, turn right and take the first left.
FORPARKING PLEASE NOTE: There is a drop off area for patients, sign-posted Radiotherapy and Oncology Set Down. Parking is not available at the drop off area must be availed of in the public carpark just across from the A&E Dept/Glandore Centre.
OPD Location: Glandore Centre
Directions: The Glandore Centre is located next to the Emergency Department and has its own entrance. On entering the main gates of the hospital turn right and follow the road and it is the first left after the Emergency Department. Please click here to see map for directions.
PLEASE NOTE – there is no access to the Glandore Centre via the main hospital.
FORPARKING PLEASE NOTE: There is a drop off area for the patient’s sign posted Radiotherapy/Oncology set down. Parking is not available at the drop off area and must be availed of in the public carpark just across from the A&E Dept/Glandore Centre.
OPD Location: Hepatology/Gastroenterology Unit (Hep/GI)
Directions: On entering the main entrance to the hospital from the Wilton Road, turn left and follow the road passed Cork University Maternity Hospital, main public carpark and the Dental Hospital. When you reach the roundabout the Hepatology/Gastroenterology Unit is the second exit off the roundabout in the orange/terracotta building. Please click here to see map for directions.
FORPARKING PLEASE NOTE: Beyond this roundabout is staff parking only and can only be accessed with a staff swipe card. On entering the hospital grounds and turning left, the public car parkis signposted after Cork University Maternity Hospital entrance. If patients require special needs parking, they are available next to the Hepatology/Gastroenterology Unit. They can be accessed by using the security intercom system at the barriers.
OPD Location: St Catherine’s Convent
Directions: St Catherine’s Convent, Highfield Lawn, Model farm Rd. (T12PX28) is located off the main CUH Campus). Please click here to see map for directions.
St. Catherine’s Convent is located in a residential area adjacent to a primary school, please be mindful of children crossing and do not park on footpaths or obstruct driveways.
FORPARKING PLEASE NOTE: Onsite parking is limited and surrounding public street parking requires payment, either through Cork City Council(CCC) ‘’Park By Phone’’ app, available on the Google Play Store or the Apple Store, or through displaying a valid Parking disc(NOT sold in St Catherine’s).
