Our Strategy

Our Vision for CUH Wilton is;

“To become one of the best performing Model 5* Hospitals in the state, an internationally recognised and accredited university teaching hospital and academic health sciences centre, meeting all Sláintecare access standards for patients, and playing a successful part in leading and delivering integrated care for the South of Ireland”

NOTE: * While a ‘Model 5 hospital’ does not currently have an agreed definition, it is used here to denote a hospital campus which truly reflects the highest level of comprehensive and integrated acute care, where Adults, Paediatrics & Maternity are co-located alongside all medical and surgical specialities and where the academic and research capability and scale reflects international definitions of an Academic Health Sciences Centre.

Our priorities are; Improving Governance, Infrastructure and Clinical Service Performance. 

We are currently updating our corporate and clinical strategy, our mission, vision and values for CUH Group and for each of our individual sites.
