Qualifications
Graduated from University College Cork in 2012 and received her Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training from the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland in 2021.
Holds a Masters degree in Clinical Trials and a Postgraduate Certificate in Cancer Genetics.
Completed fellowships in oncogenetics, gynae-oncology and thoracic oncology at the Royal Marsden Hospital, London.
Role
In 2024 Dr. O'Sullivan joined the Cork University Hospital medical oncology department where she leads the cancer predisposition service. This is the first dedicated cancer genetics clinic outside of Leinster, offering patients in the HSE South West Region diagnostic and predictive cancer genetic testing.
Dr. O'Sullivan is a clinical trial principal investigator with Cancer Trials Ireland and a part time UCC Clinical Senior Lecturer in the Medical School of University College Cork.
