Dr Farid Ahmad Toor
Professional History:
Dr Farid (MBBS, MRCPUK, MRCPI, MSc) graduated from University of Health Sciences Lahore, Pakistan (2006) and completed training in Internal Medicine and Hepatology / Gastroenterology 2021 from Connolly, Beaumont, St James and St Vincent university Hospital, Ireland. He completed Liver transplant fellowship from Royal Free London before being appointed as ‘’Consultant Transplant Hepatologist’’ at St James University Hospital Leeds, UK. Dr Toor was appointed as a Consultant Hepatologist at Cork University Hospital September 2023. Dr. Toor, Kiat and Prof Crosbie run the Hepatology Service at CUH, which provides all Hepatology services in CUH apart from liver transplantation which is performed at St Vincent’s University Hospital in Dublin.
Dr Toor completed his MSc clinical research from National University of Galway in 2022. Current research interest includes Immune mediated liver diseases and HCC.
