Bringing Colour and Comfort to Healing Spaces

In November 2024 last, Cork University Hospital (CUH) partnered with Splashes of Hope, an international organisation dedicated to transforming clinical spaces into vibrant, welcoming environments. Guided by the talented Splashes of Hope artists, CUH staff, patients, and members of the community collaborated to create inspiring artwork that now brightens the walls of our Intensive Care Unit.

Since 1997, Splashes of Hope has been spreading positivity across the globe, enhancing medical and social service centres with art designed to uplift and comfort. The newly installed pieces at CUH are a testament to the power of creativity in promoting healing and well-being for both patients and staff.
