Referral Guidelines

Referral to the Pain Service (Acute Pain) is via inpatient consult to: 

Pain Medicine Department of Anaesthesia & Pain Medicine, Cork University Hospital.   

The Chronic Pain Service is located in the South Infirmary/Victoria University Hospital.   Interventional Pain Procedures are performed and Out Patient Clinics are held on a weekly basis.  

Referral to the Chronic Pain Service is via Consultant or General Practitioner (GP) referral to:

Pain Medicine Department, South Infirmary/Victoria University Hospital, Old Blackrock Road, Cork.
