In Centre Haemodialysis Service

Our kidney dialysis service is one of the largest in the Ireland and the sole provider of haemodialysis treatment for patients with kidney disease who live in the Southwest region. 

Our main Haemodialysis Unit is based at CUH and is located on the second floor of the Cardiac Renal Centre. This may be accessed via the main front entrance to the hospital.

Opening times are from 07.00am until midnight seven days a week. Patient scheduled haemodialysis times are 07.30 am, 13.00pm and 18.00pm. We run an on call service each night for emergency out of hours dialysis.

We also offer a self care option where patients can independently manage their own haemodialysis treatment in a facility adjoining the main Haemodialysis Unit. This offers a greater degree of flexibility with regard to the scheduling of dialysis treatments.

Our Satellite unit is located at Kerry General Hospital.

Each of the units is led by a dedicated ward manager who ensures that the haemodialysis units run as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
