Referral Guidelines

To refer a patient to The Department of Renal Medicine, please send your referral to:

The Department operates as a fully integrated multidisciplinary team. Therefore, in order to facilitate the timely review of patients a new referral may be seen by any Consultant Renal Physician on their first outpatient visit.

Out-of-hours And Emergency Referrals

Out of hours emergencies are received via the A&E department at Cork University Hospital or by contacting  the Consultant Renal Physician on-call via the Hospital switchboard on Tel: +353 (0)21 4546400.
