Gastroenterology/Hepatology

The Gastroenterology service is provided by the following Consultant Gastroenterologists; Professor Fergus Shanahan, Dr.Seamus O'Mahony, Professor Eamonn Quigley and Dr.Orla Crosbie. The Hepatology service is led by Dr.Orla Crosbie. We provide an extensive range of investigations to diagnose and treat conditions affecting the oesophagus, stomach, small and large intestine, and of the liver and pancreas.

Our department offers a highly specialised service for children (consult and referral as appropriate) through to adults and the elderly.
