Our Clinical Perfusion Department provides Clinical Perfusion services for approximately 450 adult cardiac surgery cases per year, consisting of both elective and emergency cases.
The Department also provides Intra-Aortic Balloon pump service, blood gas analysis, and coagulation monitoring. Research is encouraged. The Chief position requires participation in student tutoring, staff rostering, departmental stocktaking and ordering, data management, and other administrative duties.
Purpose of the post:
- To assist in leading and managing the perfusion service in the hospital.
- To act as tutor and mentor to Perfusion Students in the department.
