Our Vacancies

Cork University Maternity Hospital currently has a number of General Practitioners working with the Gynaecology service in outreach clinics. We are now looking to expand this service to the Carrigaline Primary Healthcare clinic.

CUMH is committed to developing such initiatives as an opportunity to enhance the professional relationship between General Practice and CUMH.  If you have a keen interest in providing sessions to this service, I would be grateful if you would forward your CV, together with a covering letter, to Amy Quinlan in Medical Administration at amy.quinlan@hse.ie by 17:00 on Wednesday, 12th May, 2021.

CUH has been designated to becoming the Major Trauma Centre for the Southern Trauma Network, one of just two adult MTCs in Ireland.

We provide the full range of Adult, Paediatric, Resuscitation, Ambulatory, Telemedicine and Observational medicine streams. We have a developed Emergency Medicine Community Outreach program in collaboration with the National Ambulance Service; have an acute floor model of care delivery which includes Geriatric Emergency Multidisciplinary Service, Acute Medical unit, Acute Surgical Assessment Unit, Paediatric Assessment Unit, ED Clinical Decision Unit etc. We also have Ireland’s first dedicated ED Research Group, EIRN (Emergency Care Innovation & Research network).

You will be warmly welcomed as a senior and valued member of the CUH ED family and we will be ‘hands on’ in facilitating the process of your relocation to Cork.
