The aim of the CUH (Cork University Hospital) Charity is to provide a wide range of life-changing and life-saving equipment, facilities and services for patients in Cork University Hospital. The hospital is the largest university teaching hospital in Ireland, catering for a hinterland population in excess of 1.1 million people across the region. Operating as a centre of excellence for over 40 different medical and surgical specialities on the campus including Cancer Services, Cardiac Services, Paediatrics, Neurosciences, Renal Medicine and Obstetrics, CUH is the only Level 1 Trauma Centre in the country.

Bernie O’Halloran is our full-time Fundraising Officer and is responsible for donor communications, fundraising events and initiatives and liaison with patients and staff on potential fundraisers.
Clodagh McCarthy works with the team on a part-time basis and is responsible for the administration of donations, liaising with staff and patients on departmental fundraising, book-keeping and general accounts.
