Directions from Cork City Centre to CUH:
Head northeast on St Patrick's St towards Bowling Green St, Turn left at Merchant's Quay (signs for Limerick/Blarney), Continue to Lavitt's Quay, Continue to Kyrl's Quay, Continue to Bachelor's Quay, Continue to Grenville Pl, Turn left at Sheares St, Turn right at Little Hanover St, Turn right at Washington St , Continue to follow N22, Slight left at Wilton Rd, At Wilton Roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Bishopstown Rd, Turn right at Cardinal Way, Turn left, Turn right, Turn right, Cork University Hospital will be on the right.
Parking
The main public car park is located opposite the main hospital entrance. There is also a carpark adjacent to the Emergency and Outpatients departments as well as an underground carpark in Cork University Maternity Hospital .The current parking charge is €2.70 per hour subject to a daily maximum of €15 (Feb 2012) Pay stations are located at the steps leading to the main entrance, in the foyer of Outpatients dept and in the ED / Outpatients carpark.
Measures, including clamping if necessary, are in place to police unauthorised parking in other areas. Parking for those with special needs is provided at various locations throughout the site. These locations will be strictly policed and members of the public are requested to respect them.
"It is in everyone's interest to ensure that the roads on the Hospital site are kept clear for emergency vehicles therefore the co-operation of the public in the management of car parking on the site is earnestly requested"

A free phone Taxi service is available from within the Hospital; one free phone is situated along the main concourse opposite the Patient Accounts office, the other is situated in the coffee bar of the Out Patient Department.
